Mark your calendars for Metro State University's Fall Week of Service, taking place Monday, September 21 – Saturday, September 26! Join fellow alumni, students, faculty, and staff for a week dedicated to giving back, building connections, and making a positive impact both on campus and throughout our community.

Throughout the week, you'll have a variety of opportunities to volunteer, engage with the Metro State community, and support meaningful causes.

Week at a Glance:

Monday, September 21 – Week of Service Kickoff
Help support the Student Parent Center by donating essential items throughout the week. Collection bins will be located across the Saint Paul Campus.

Tuesday, September 22 – Open Arms Meal Packing
2:00–4:00 p.m. | Open Arms Saint Paul

Wednesday, September 23 – College of Liberal Arts Alumni Panel Discussion
4:00–5:30 p.m. | Ecolab Room

Thursday, September 24 – Diversity Networking & Job Fair
3:00–6:00 p.m. | Science Education Center Atrium

Friday, September 25 – Community Garden Cleanup & Harvest
5:00–6:15 p.m. | Community Garden behind the Student Center

Saturday, September 26 – Fall Fest
12:30–4:30 p.m. | Surface lot adjacent to the parking ramp, Saint Paul Campus

We're looking for Metro State alumni and local professionals to volunteer at our Diversity Networking & Job Fair Orientation on Thursday, September 3, from 4:00–5:30 p.m.

By volunteering, you'll help students build confidence before meeting employers by:
Sharing your career journey and job search advice
Offering networking tips and first-impression strategies
Reviewing resumes and providing feedback
Helping students feel prepared for the upcoming job fair

This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the next generation of Metro State professionals.

Complimentary parking is provided in the Metro State parking ramp with a parking voucher upon arrival.
