We all probably hear it time to time, "Oh yeah, I went to farrier school." or "I took a course in college."
At what point does one's education become outdated or irrelevant to current farriery, if they are not still practicing the trade, or continuing that education?
On hot days, what do you do between appts while in your vehicle? Do you use conventional A/C, or 4 windows down @ 60mph type of AC?

I feel like this question is asked a lot from those unfamiliar with horses. Can they feel it?
So the question really is, do you think the horse knows the difference between the end of a cycle and beginning of a cycle? Furthermore, can they relate that change to the Farrier and the process of trimming/shoeing?

Therapeutic is a term used a lot in farrier work. Based off the Merriam-Webster definition, should we consider all Farrier work to be therapeutic? If not, what's the line between everyday work and therapeutic?
1: of or relating to the treatment of disease or disorders by remedial agents or methods : curative, medicinal
2: having a beneficial effect on the body or mind
