Leesa Kelly from Memorialize the Movement (MTM) visited with Art & Tech students today in the Catherine G. Murphy Gallery. MTM is a living archive dedicated to collecting, preserving, and activating the plywood protest murals that were created during the Minneapolis Uprising of 2020 and beyond. Art & Tech students will be designing conversation cards to engage the public with MTM murals, which will be displayed at St. Kate's this fall.

Katies wanting to contribute to the "Plywood Quilt" exhibit, currently on display in the gallery, are welcome to join MTM's Paint To Express workshop, tonight from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the Catherine G. Murphy Gallery. Although all are welcome, these creation sessions center the expressions of BIPOC community members.
