To keep the rich Cambodian music culture alive, we sought to offer classes in Khmer instruments to people of all ages. These instruments include xylophones (Roneat), dulcimers (Khimm), gongs (Korng), flutes (Khloy), cymbals (Chhing), and drums (Sampho and Thaun).

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, our classes will be CANCELED temporarily until further notice. By the recommendation of the Minnesota Department of Health and the Governor, we want to do our part in keeping our community healthy and safe. Please take care of yourself and be kind to one another.

Greeting everyone,

The Kingdom of the Lotus is a free classroom. We're welcome all kind of students who are interested to learn Cambodia instruments that can date far back. The transition of keep this music alive is by pass down from one generation to the next. If you're interested to learn we're open during weekend where master Jane and Mr. Thouen will demonstrate and teach you from basic till advanced.

Once you get familiar with the music you're also have a chance to perform outside of classroom and our community. For those who are not into music we're also offered dance class that you can get involved in. The class are all free and it's open from 8 am to 11am every Saturday.
