SPCC’s Annual Art Show is next week! Thursday, March 12th from 4-6. Mark your calendars! Families and Friends all welcome! Your kids cant wait to show you all their hard work!

On Saturday, March 14th, 9am-12pm we are also hosting a Reggio Inspired Network of Minnesota gathering. This gathering will allow us to share our art program with other educators and have deeper conversations about our Reggio inspired practice, how was document children’s growth and collaborate as teachers. If you’re interested in participating and learning more about the how and why of our teaching you can register at mnreggio.org

Do you have a child who is going in to Kindergarten or just finished kindergarten? Join us this summer for the Hive! The Hive is SPCC’s summer program. They spend most of the day outside! Going on adventures, learning about gardening, art and whatever piques their interest (we are a child led program). Kids will go on field trips via the metro, walk to parks and have many other opportunities here at SPCC!

Our Gerten’s Spring Fundraiser is here! Visit Gerten’s Fundraising online (link in our bio) store 190. All money raised will be used toward maintenance and improvements to our outdoor classroom! Plants, toys, scooters, shovels, wood chips and more. We spend most of days in the summer outside so please share our store with family and friends!

That time of the year when spring teases us! Even gives us a taste. We feel the sun’s warmth on our faces but the icey water fills our boots and freezes our fingers! Dreaming of spring but we’d be happy with more snow too!

We brought the Holiday Cheer this December! Candy cane day, sports day, flannel Friday, sparkle snow day, silly sweaters, pajamas and more! Thanks to the parents for spoiling us with a chili cook off, treats and gifts. Your generosity is sooo appreciated! We wrapped up the week with a Winter Solstice Fire. Oh what fun!

Earth Day clean up walk!! All of SPCC hit the streets and cleaned up around our neighborhood

Thank you to everyone who came out for our annual art show! It was another great success and so much fun.
We raised over $400 for our art program! I will keep you posted on what we decide to buy. I have my eye on a kick wheel (manual pottery wheel).
