The regular monthly business of the community center will be held Monday, August 3, at 6:00 p.m. Anyone who is interested in being involved with the center’s projects and activities is encouraged to attend. Hope to see you there

Frank, Darrell, and Lee have been busy making a horseshoe pit at the center. They finished it up today and it turned out great. Thanks guys for a job well done!

An early season rematch of last years Region D semifinals between Eastside and Honaker goes to the Tigers. A big four run second inning sparked by Kam Beavers 2 RBI double would be all the cushion Honaker would need as they would move to 4-0 on the season with a 5-2 victory. Freshman Jake Rasnake tossed 4 innings, giving up 1 hit and striking out 4. Caden Altizer and Connor Musick threw in relief as Musick also tallied three hits on the night. Eastside struggled at the plate, only notching two hits for the game as Jed McCoy and Austin Howard each had a hit for the Spartans.

The center has been approached about having a community yard sale like we did several years ago possibly May 1st and 2nd. It would be free to set up…just clean up good before leaving. There are spaces for about 6 inside and you could bring you tables and set up outside. We are trying to see if we would have enough vendors to make it worthwhile. Comment if you would like to participate and we will discuss it at April’s meeting whether or not to have it

We would like to thank the following for their donations that helped us greatly with the egg hunt.
