Congratulations to our new HUSC President and Vice President Logan Micek and Alicia Freund! They will begin their terms after this school year and serve all of next year. If you see them around, say hi and introduce yourself! They are very excited to hear what students have to say.

Don't forget that tomorrow is the last day to vote for HUSC president and VP for next year! Voting will take place in Anderson from 11-1 and 4-7 AND you will get an awesome free t-shirt. Or you can vote in the coziness of your dorm room through the link that was emailed earlier this week until 7pm.

Hey Manor residents! Today at General Assembly, HUSC voted to get some new equipment for the music department and voted in a new junior class representative, Chad Hermes. Congratulate him if you see him on campus! He is another HUSC resource for the junior class and any student who has ideas about how to improve Hamline. Also don't forget that Winter Wonder Jam is this weekend! Get your tickets while they are still $5!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a dandy winter break and J-term. HUSC had it's first GA of the semester today, and discussed the law school space, Snapchat filters, and students double and triple majoring. If you would like more information on the goings on of GA let me know and I can send you the minutes, or if you have any ideas for Hamline's Snapchat, message me!

In General Assembly today, Provost Matachek talked to the assembly about the negotiations taking place with the adjunct faculty union. If you want more information about what he said or the negotiations in general, let me know and I will answer any questions and send the minutes from the meeting. Also there is once a again a printer in the Sorin lab!

Hey Manor Residents, thanks so much for liking the page! I want to use this space to let you all know what's happening in Student Congress every week. I will be posting minutes from the weekly meetings and updates about our projects. HUSC meets every Tuesday during Convo hour in GLC 100E, and all of you are welcome to attend. Also, this would be a great place to let me know how you want to improve Manor or Hamline as a whole. This could include anything from getting a water fountain on the second floor, or putting in a swing set on campus. HUSC has a budget for these sorts of capital improvements, so nothing is off limits!
