Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistants (3 Positions)
Join our wonderful learning community! We are looking for flexible, strength-based, and experienced individuals to fill three vital Teaching Assistant (TA) support roles in our school.

About the Roles
We are seeking three dedicated individuals for the following Teaching Assistant positions:

Teaching Assistant (Special Education) - 2 Positions: Provide direct support to students with specialized needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals in the classroom and throughout the school day.

Teaching Assistant (General Classroom Support/Lunch Coverage) - 1 Position: Provide essential support to students in their classrooms and supervise students during the lunch period, ensuring a safe, positive, and orderly environment.

All three successful candidates will also be responsible for supervising students riding the bus, loading and unloading, supporting safe and smooth transitions to and from school.

Key Qualifications and Attributes
Successful candidates will possess the following:

Experience working with children and youth in a supervisory or supportive capacity.

A flexible and adaptable approach to daily tasks and changing student needs.

A strength-based philosophy, focusing on the abilities and potential of every student.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

This free, family-friendly event has something for everyone — enjoy a Petting Zoo, Photo Booth, Lasso Game and a chance to chat with the design team about the exciting Site Improvement Project at Groveland.

You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with some of the amazing people and organizations that help make our neighborhood great, including the Groveland Recreation Center Staff, Groveland Elementary School, Highland Ball, HGRA, Pack 2013, Macalester-Groveland Community Council, and of course, your friends at the Groveland Ice Rinks Volunteer Organization.
