MPA families are invited to attend the Minneapolis Japanese School Summer Festival on Saturday, August 22, from 11 AM-12 PM at the MPA Playground! Enjoy traditional festival activities, including toy goldfish scooping, water balloon fishing, and the watermelon splitting game, while learning about Japanese culture.

Upper School families, join us for Family Night At The Burrow on Tuesday, August 11, from 6-8 PM! Don't miss an exciting evening of food, fun, and friendly competition, with all-you-can-play laser tag and Trivia Mafia beginning at 6 PM.

Last week, PreK concluded their insect theme with a fun, hands-on art activity! They had a blast using fly swatters to splat paint-covered "bugs," creating colorful masterpieces—a memorable way to celebrate creativity and curiosity. Kick off the 2026-27 theatre season with MPA's theatre department at the annual welcome back event on Wednesday, August 19, from 3:30-5 PM in the Black Box! All Upper and Middle School students are invited to connect with new and returning students, sing karaoke, tour the theatre space, and enjoy much more.
