Remember, the brain is like a muscle. It gets stronger when you use it effectively.

Leaders Are Readers visited Phident School Complex in Ghana!
The children welcomed Dr. Tyner with a beautiful traditional performance, then read Justice Makes a Difference together.
Lesson learned: Even small acts of fairness and courage can change things for everyone.

Thirty children under the age of 7 at Bonna Educational Complex experienced the joy and wonder of reading during Dr. Artika Tyner’s recent visit to Ghana.
Every child deserves to see themselves reflected in the stories they read. Help us build a library filled with new children’s books featuring characters from the African Diaspora that inspire imagination, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
A child who loves reading today becomes a leader tomorrow.
📚 Donate new children’s books featuring African Diaspora characters or make a financial gift to help us purchase culturally affirming books.
