Welcome back to campus! APS grad students got together to meet new students in the program and reconnect with others they already knew!

APS graduate students traveled to the Chicago, IL area for tours at Ball Horticultural/PanAmerican Seed Co. and Syngenta US. While visiting, students got to learn about the work these companies do and meet with an APS program alumnus.

Students from the APS grad club went to Bethel University to help with the Science Olympiad State Tournament. Science Olympiad is a nonprofit organization that engages K-12 students in STEM through fun competitions. It was a great time!

Members of the APS Grad Club volunteered as interviewers for the University of Minnesota Extension Ecology Science Fair! The science fair hosted students from elementary through high school ages.

APS Grad Club has had a busy fall!
We kicked off the semester with a New Student Welcome Tailgate, and have had regular "bar classes" (APSbc 7025: Advanced Bar Socialization.... yes, there's even a syllabus).
In October, students and their loved ones participated in a pumpkin carving contest. Most recently, club members got together to make and sell fresh apple pies as a fundraiser.
