Our goal is to expose Hamline to the exciting world of swing dance and social dancing! Meetings are every Tuesday night at 7pm in ANDC 304/305.
HU Swing Dancers is an org that exposes the Hamline community to the niche world of swing dance! All our lessons and social dances are beginner friendly and open to all Hamline University students, faculty and staff. We alternate each week between professionally-taught lessons, and social dance time where you can practice the skills and moves from each lesson. This year we are focusing on teaching

Also, Swingasota is having a free beginner lesson every Wednesday of December from 7:30-9pm, after which, you get free admission to the social dance from 9-11pm!!

Hey everyone! Are you ready for our LAST get-together of 2016?!
There will be no lesson tonight; instead we will meet in Manor Main Lounge to hang out and celebrate the end of the semester. If enough people are interested, we will go "swing bomb" RHA's Late Night Study Breakfast in Anderson! (Or just go to eat pancakes 😋)

Hey HU Swing Dancers, welcome to December!
We will have 2 lessons this month before the end of the semester: a West Coast lesson this Tuesday (tomorrow) and a Lindy Hop lesson on the 13th, which is the last day of classes!
I hope everyone can make it to the lessons or social dances as a way to de-stress and escape from the pressures of finals! Stay strong everyone!
