We had a fantastic time filling Grand Avenue with the sweet sounds of Irish traditional music yesterday at Moloney's Irish Imports on Grand Old Day. It was a joy to share the day alongside Rince na Chroi Irish Dancers, Twin Cities Irish Fest, and Twin Cities Robert Emmets Hurling and Camogie.

A huge thank you to our students and families for coming out to play, to Brian Miller for organizing, and to James & Emma at Moloney's Irish Imports for hosting so graciously. We loved bringing Irish music to the streets and celebrating with so many friends from the local Irish community!

Ending the MN Irish Music Weekend on the sweetest and strongest note will be acclaimed uilleann piper Louise Mulcahy, as she performs a Sunday evening concert on June 14th, 6pm.

Since taking up the uilleann pipes at age thirteen, Louise has become one of the leading players in Ireland. In addition to her incredible talent and musicianship, Louise has done groundbreaking research work on women in uilleann piping. Louise holds the honour of being the only person in the history of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann to have won four senior All-Ireland titles in one day!
