Twin Cities Bass Camp Twin Cities Bass Camp 2025 is coming! (more info soon) Twin Cities Bass Camp 2016 featuring FRANCOIS RABBATH will be held from July 22 through 26 in St. Paul, MN!

In 2016 we will once again have the honor of welcoming world-renowned performer, virtuoso, and pedagogue François Rabbath to the faculty. Mr. Rabbath will conduct masterclasses, a teacher training workshop, and present an evening concert. Faculty also includes Johnny Hamil (director, KC Bass Workshop), Bill Schrickel (Minnesota Orchestra), Dōan Brian Roessler (director, TCBC), Jeff Harshbarger (Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey), Hans Sturm (bass professor at University of Nebraska) and more – world class bassists, educators, and people dedicated to making a positive impact in the world through music. The Twin Cities Bass Camp philosophy is that we learn and teach best when we’re open and having fun. Music is about joy and connection to community. Activities will include a bass orchestra, masterclasses with faculty members, ensembles, young bassists classes, rhythm section workshop, orchestral playing and audition preparation, solo literature, improvisation for all levels, and more. We are excited to announce that Twin Cities Bass Camp will be OFFICIALLY RETURNING in 2025 after an 8-year hiatus! We are proud to be working with the music department at Hamline University in Saint Paul, MN to bring you TCBC July 7-11 2025. Put it in your calendars!! We are aiming to have registration open sometime in January, so be on the lookout for more information.

We also have some really exciting faculty to announce, with some old TCBC faces as well as new ones.

Registration for the TCBC WInter Weekend Workshop is now open! Evening of January 6 through January 8th. Confirmed faculty at this point are Doan Brian Roessler, Maggie Hasspacher, Etienne Lafrance, and Anthony Cox (more to come!). Space will be very limited, so don't wait to reserve your spot.
