From a stunning trio performed by student group The Aetherium Trio, to a moving solo performances by our Honors Competition winners; from our Suzuki Twinklers to an Ode to Joy featuring over 20 student and faculty winds… and culminating with delightful dancing and community at the reception thanks to Scott Keever + Orkestar Bez Ime… we had an amazing time at Laurel in Bloom: Spring Showcase + Fundraiser Saturday Afternoon!

It's GIVE TO THE MAX Day in Minnesota!

Laurel celebrated our new name and brand back in September, and is making big moves this year!!

We continue to grow, serving 600+ students across the Twin Cities and beyond. We walk the walk when it comes to access + inclusion in music education, having provided $102K in student financial aid this year. We are running THREE concert series this season beyond our normal school fare. And this summer we will continue to expand our camp offerings as well as drawing students from across the country for the Saint Paul Chamber Music Institute with Jasper String Quartet, and our summer Chamber Music Festival concerts.

Friday afternoon, at Westminster Hall, Twin Cities pianist and Laurel Faculty member Daniel Rieppel will be performing Schubert's Reliquie Sonata, courtesy of Schubert Club! We hope to see you there!

As part of our launch event, students and other community members worked with local artist and Laurel parent Megan Moore on a community art project that will eventually end up in our studios!
