What a beautiful afternoon of music, reflection, and community.
Saturday afternoon, the Amazing Grace Chorus filled Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with songs of faith, resilience, and joy in their annual spring concert, Like a Tree: Rooted and Rising. Through powerful Gospel music and heartfelt storytelling, AGC’s elder singers reminded us of the strength that comes from deep roots and the hope that carries us forward.
Thank you to everyone who attended, supported the chorus, and contributed to Walker West’s mission during the event.

This past Saturday we celebrated the very first Violittles Recital at Walker West!
Violittles brings together our youngest violin students (K-3) in a collaborative, beginner-friendly environment where creativity and ensemble learning take center stage while helping to change the demographics of concert music. We’re so proud of these students for sharing their music and hard work!!!

Last night we had the pleasure of welcoming soprano Claudia de Lourdes Díaz to Walker West for an evening of music and conversation.
Claudia shared a beautiful short recital, followed by a thoughtful Q&A with attendees, and we were honored to celebrate her recent recognition as one of YourClassical’s Performance Today 2026 Young Artists in Residence recipients.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a lovely evening at Walker West.
