Last week, we welcomed our incoming 2026–2027 kindergarteners for Kinder Kamp!

Kinder Kamp is a special opportunity each year for our youngest students to ease some of the nerves that can come with starting something new. Throughout the week, we talked about the importance of kindness and bravery, because trying new things and stepping into a new adventure takes courage!

Our future kindergarteners spent time exploring their new classrooms, creating art projects, meeting teachers, making new friends, and becoming familiar with all the wonderful things that await them at Nativity.

There was so much joy and excitement throughout the week, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome this amazing group of children to the Nativity family this fall.

Welcome, Nativity of Our Lord Class of 2035! 💙

Yesterday, we wrapped up the 2025–2026 school year with an End-of-Year School Mass. During his homily, Father Erickson reminded Nativity students that as they head into summer, they carry with them the greatest gift of all: Jesus. He encouraged them to take the love of Jesus out into the world, sharing it with their families, friends, neighbors, and everyone they meet. Through acts of kindness, compassion, and faith, they can be a reflection of Christ’s love to one another.

As we close another wonderful school year, we are grateful for the many blessings, memories, and moments of growth we’ve shared together.

☀️ Wishing all of our students, families, faculty, and staff a joyful, safe, and faith-filled summer. We look forward to seeing you again in the fall!

Our preschoolers wrapped up their final week of school with lots of fun: Slime Day, Bubble Day, and a special “Slide Into Summer” celebration! ☀️🫧

As we close a wonderful year, we wish all of our preschool families a safe and blessed summer!

Along with celebrating our final day of preschool, we wrapped up Field Day with our K–3 students, and 7th graders enjoying a day full of games, teamwork, and Jonnypops!

As the school year winds down, our students made the most of a beautiful day at Nativity!

Our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders enjoyed their Field Day, competing in games, cheering each other on, and celebrating this last week of school together. A special thank you to for donating popsicles that helped everyone cool off after the festivities!

Meanwhile, the Kindergarteners had a picnic at Mattocks Park with their 7th grade buddies. Our preschoolers had a blast during Bubble Day on the preschool playground with 5th Grade friends, and our 1st graders took their math lesson outdoors, solving problems on the plaza while soaking up the sunshine.

There was truly excitement around every corner today. We’re looking forward to the rest of our school’s Field Day tomorrow and savoring these final days of the 2025–2026 school year together!

We are thrilled to share that today our own 3rd grade teacher, Kristen Thomas, has been named a recipient of the Sister Rose Anita McDonnell, IHM Award from Sadlier!

Named in honor of Sister Rose Anita McDonnell, a renowned mathematics educator and the guiding light behind Sadlier’s Progress in Mathematics series, this award recognizes outstanding educators who demonstrate a true love of mathematics and inspire students to excel.

Kristen’s passion for teaching, dedication to her students, and enthusiasm for making math engaging and meaningful make her incredibly deserving of this recognition. We are so proud of her and grateful for the impact she has on our students each day.

Congratulations, Mrs. Thomas, on this well-deserved honor! 🎉📚

What a sweet day at Nativity! 🍩🎢 💙

This morning, our kindergarteners welcomed their dads and special guests for Donuts with Dads. The students sang songs, shared special gifts they made, and most importantly, enjoyed donuts together creating memories that will last long after that last sprinkle was gone.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the spectrum, our 8th graders spent the day at Valleyfair celebrating the close of their Nativity journey together before graduation on Tuesday. From kindergarten songs to roller coaster rides, days like today are a beautiful reminder of the joy, traditions, and community shared across every stage of life at Nativity.

Nativity 2nd graders had an amazing adventure at Dodge Nature Center today! Students got the opportunity to collect, observe, and study some of the plants and animals that call Dodge’s ponds and wetlands home. From tiny water creatures to fascinating wetland habitats, this hands-on experience brought science to life in such a fun and memorable way!

The halls of Nativity were filled with applause as one of our most meaningful school traditions took place. This afternoon the Nativity kindergarteners and 8th Grade parents lined the exit to “clap out” the Class of 2026 on their final day of school. 👏

For the 8th graders, this is a full-circle moment, remembering when they once stood in the kindergarten line themselves, looking up to the Nativity graduates who came before them.

We are so proud of these students and grateful for the faith, leadership, friendships, and joy they have shared with Nativity. Congratulations, Class of 2026, may God continue to guide your paths and bless you in all that lies ahead. 💙

It was a busy, buzzing “Bug Day” at Nativity of Our Lord School! 🐞🐝🪲

One of Nativity’s most-loved traditions filled the halls today as our kindergarteners dressed up as insects, shared fun facts about their bugs, and proudly paraded through the school. It’s always a joy for our older students to watch and remember their own Bug Day experiences from years past. These special traditions help connect our school community across every grade level.

We also enjoyed a wonderful morning of music as our 1st graders performed an adorable Seussical the Musical concert for families and staff.

Our middle school students also enjoyed a fun afternoon together at their end-of-year picnic with a grilled lunch, games, and activities on the playground.

As we near the end of the school year, we are so grateful for these days filled with joy, learning, and memories in the making! 💙

Yesterday morning, our 5th grade students headed to the ballpark for a fun-filled Safety Patrol field trip to cheer on the St. Paul Saints. ⚾️

As members of St. Paul School Safety Patrols, these student leaders help keep our community safe by assisting classmates and community members at crosswalks before and after school. Their dedication, responsibility, and leadership make a difference every day, and this special trip was a well-earned celebration of their hard work throughout the year. Thank you, 5th Graders!
