We held our Homecoming All School Mass yesterday, an important time for us to come together as Pioneers and celebrate! Special thanks to Olivia McGrath, our To Be A Pioneer Speaker today, for sharing her journey to finding God and accepting him into her daily life.

Sister Linda Soler is a familiar face at Hill-Murray’s football games.

The Benedictine Sister is the team’s chaplain, a spiritual leader for the Pioneers. From blessing the helmets of the players to shouting from the sideline, Sister Linda is as much a part of the team as those on the field.

Sister Linda's impact as Sports Chaplain at Hill-Murray School is measurable - in team wins, in personal bests, in section and state championships.

Yet so much of her impact is left unmeasured. The happiness and strength of our players, the levity that their faith brings them in times of need, the tenderness she inspires young people to lead their lives with.

“Remember this,” she tells players, “if you’re in need and I’m there for you, I’m not going to abandon you. Never will I abandon you.”

Congratulations to H-M senior Danielle Rose Miklas for being featured as an outstanding senior in White Bear Lake Magazine! Danielle is a Flaherty Scholar, a student ambassador, a co-captain of the mock trial team, and so much more. This summer, Danielle's path led her all the way to the Harvard Pre-College Summer Program. Congratulations Danielle, we are so proud of you!

Have you noticed Mr. Benner in the halls riding a red electric scooter? Well, Mr. Benner is recovering from knee replacement surgery earlier this summer, and per his doctor's orders, he needs to limit his daily walking to aid his recovery.

Please give Mr. Benner plenty of space in the halls, as he is still learning to maneuver "the whip". Don't worry - he'll still be able to keep up with our Pioneers as he's recovering 😉
