Creative works of art have taken over the classroom in this week’s Messy Art Camp!

Our incoming kindergarteners kicked off summer by spending part of the morning learning all about kindergarten!

As we wrapped up another wonderful school year, our teachers and staff gathered on the St. Croix River to celebrate all that we accomplished together.

We also honored several dedicated team members as they begin their well-earned retirements and new adventures: Kassy Kenney, Tammy Kuenster, Mary Fran Werner, Michele Weber, and Janie Munson. Thank you for the years of service, care, and commitment you’ve given to the Hi-C community. 💙

The school year ends with another fantastic Field Day! A huge thank you to Mr. Petersen and the 7th graders for running the fun for the kindergarten-4th grade students.

Hi-C held its annual Renaissance Ball this week. The sixth graders donned their Renaissance best and mingled, danced, and banqueted in the guise of Lorenzo de Medici, Sir Thomas More, Queen Elizabeth I, Joan of Arc, and many other Renaissance luminaries. The Hi-C staff in attendance were impressed!

7th grade's scavenger hunt was full of fun, teamwork, and friendly competition. Congratulations to Ms. Boyle's team for taking home the win 🏆

What a night! 🎉 We had a blast at Family Fun Night! From the littles exploring the play zone, to families enjoying carnival games, to the big kids battling it out in the gaming truck, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to Hi-C parent Ali for organizing this wonderful event, and to all of the volunteers who helped make the evening safe, fun, and memorable for our school community. 💙💚

What a week in the garden! 🌱 From planting veggies, pumpkins, wildflowers, and sunflowers to spreading mulch, pulling weeds, and creating butterfly-friendly spaces, our students and garden crew showed up with helping hands and big smiles. 💚

Our wonderful 7th Grade Highland Friendship Book Club members enjoyed their last book club of the school year. We are so blessed to be a part of this amazing community organization and we are so proud of our seventh graders who choose to share their time and friendship with others.
