I get to ski patrol with a bunch of great people including Steve who has patrolled at Afton for 60 years! This story is a decade old but still applicable. Steve was awarded Afton's patroller of the year award in this past weekend's annual recertification clinic. Steve & I share a lot of similarities including the same "get off the couch" attitude.

Winter is coming! As a member of the National Ski Patrol, I see a number of on snow injuries over the winter. I'd say this list is spot on, but I would replace ankle injuries with wrist injuries for skiers & snowboarders.
