Global Language Institute

GLI's owners, Sheila and Mary, are sad to announce that Global Language Institute will be closing at the end of the year. We have been "bringing the world together through English" at GLI for more than 30 years, and in this time, many thousands of students from all around the world have studied with us and become a part of the GLI family. We are heartbroken to have to close our beautiful school, but with the coronavirus pandemic, it may still be a long time before international students will again travel freely and comfortably to study English in the U.S.

We are not saying goodbye just yet, though. Our final session begins today, and we are delighted as always to welcome back our wonderful students!

Good morning and Happy Friday! It's going to be a gorgeous day today, with a high in the 70s here in the Twin Cities, so students, please get out there and enjoy some safe, socially-distanced sunshine! A great session underway right now, and so nice to see students in person in GLI. Thank you students for being so responsible in following all the guidelines to keep everyone safe and healthy! A reminder that, with the next session starting November 2nd, if you introduce a new student to GLI, and they study with us full-time for a session, we’ll send you $300. We’re excited here at GLI as we get ready for the start of the new session next Monday, our first ‘hybrid’ session with a mixture of online and in-person classes.
