Metro Deaf School- Elementary

This week is Teacher and Staff appreciation week at Metro Deaf School!

We are especially thankful for our talented and amazing staff who give so much for our students and families.

Thank you MDS staff!

Today Governor Tim Walz issued a new stay-at-home (shelter in place) order to reduce getting and spreading COVID-19. This order will go in effect at 11:59pm on Friday, March 27. This order means all Minnesota residents should stay home and only leave for health and safety reasons, such as getting food, medical care, and essential workers.

This order also means that MDS students will not go back to school after spring break. Instead, Distance Learning will officially begin on Monday, April 6th after spring break until at least May 4, 2020.

MDS will be providing additional information in the next two days on how Distance Learning will work for our students during this time.
