For over thirty years Los Alegres Bailadores has delivered colorful and truly authentic dance performances all over the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. Paul’s West Side and was founded by Rebecca Moran Cusick, whose livelong mission has been dedicated to the preservation and continuation of Mexican folkloric traditions and culture through the art of dance. Classes are offered at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Saint Paul for children ages three to adult. Students learn Mexican heritage and traditional dance steps through the use of authentic folk music and costumes that are appropriate for a specific dance or Mexican state. Los Alegres Bailadores always opens their doors to new members. No prior dance experience necessary!
