Community of Peace Academy

Another great school year in the books!! At Community of Peace Academy it’s tradition on the last day of school for teachers and staff to line the sidewalks to wave goodbye to students. On Tuesday that beloved tradition lived on! Everyone at CPA is wishing you a very safe and wonderful summer break!

At CPA there is a tradition where staff create a tunnel to welcome and cheer on the graduating class as they enter their graduation ceremony. It’s easy to cheer on such great students!

Did you know every spring in elementary science the kids get to watch quails hatch? The students are always buzzing with excitement! 🥚🐣

Yesterday our Seniors celebrated being close to graduation by walking through the hallways lined with all the students at CPA. High school through elementary cheered them on and hopefully saw themselves doing the exact same thing someday! Congratulations Class of 2026! 🎓

Kindergarten is counting down to the end the year by celebrating a different letter every day! For J they went to the Minnesota Zoo to see animals in the jungle. What an exciting way to practice the letters they have learned this year!

Every year we choose and honor people who embody the mission and values of Community of Peace Academy. These Community Members of the Year supported our families during the unprecedented challenges of the recent metro surge, these individuals served as the backbone of our Community Stabilization Team. Their commitment went far beyond their job descriptions; providing essential resources, stability, and a compassionate safety net for our families in crisis. Their advocacy kept our community resilient when it mattered most. Congratulations to our Community Members of the Year!

Tonight we celebrated everything that makes CPA special. Choir students from high school and elementary sang beautifully. We also got to admire beautiful artwork and vote on our Board of Directors for next year. Together we celebrated each other tonight and that is what makes our community so wonderful.

Minnesota Department of Transportation recently joined 4th grade in building a model of a bridge in small groups. Students got to take on roles of project manager and assistant project manager to lead their group in creating a bridge. In the end they got to see their hard work in fruition each student got to crawl across!
