It’s summer break, but LinkedIn is always in session. We asked a few Bethel campus landmarks to describe their roles—and they took it very seriously.

What can you do with a health sciences degree? For Neil De Cleene ’17, it led to the Minnesota United FC sideline. ⚽

As an assistant athletic trainer/physical therapist for Minnesota United FC, Neil helps players stay healthy, recover from injury, and get back on the field when it matters most.

His path started at Bethel with hands-on preparation, strong mentors, and a community that helped him see where sports medicine could take him.

Thank you for letting us celebrate this incredible milestone with you, Class of 2026! Your Bethel chapter may be coming to a close, but the journey ahead is just beginning.

Students worshiped and prayed alongside pastors, missionaries, and church leaders during Converge’s “170 Days of Prayer” simulcast hosted at Bethel University earlier this month.

The evening highlighted Bethel’s longstanding partnership with Converge and a shared commitment to preparing the next generation for lives of calling, service, and global mission.

“Bethel University did not emerge in isolation and doesn't exist in isolation,” Campus Pastor Matt Runion said. “Bethel was born out of the same gospel movement that gave rise to Converge.”
