In Montessori, we model an activity so children can learn skills and feel capable. However, we do not expect them to copy us exactly, leaving plenty of space for creativity and self-expression.

🌸 Monarch Montessori is raising money for scholarships and supplies to support our students, and our school will receive 30% of all plant sales and 15% of all plant card sales.

Orders are due by Monday April 6th. You can place your orders and pay online at the link in our bio or go to: www.gertensfundraising.com then enter Store ID code 138 for Monarch Montessori School.

Orders will be ready for pickup at Monarch/Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church on Saturday May 15th between 11am - 1pm. If this date and time doesn’t work for you, please let us know and we can work on other options.

Monarch is a special and unique place: a true community where children learn some essential lessons about what it means to be, well, human! In addition to reading, writing, and arithmatic, we discover self-care tasks, friendship skills, the natural world, and whatever seemingly random thing our educators and peers are obsessed with that week. (Planets! Penguins! Pumpkins! Pokemon!)

September 2026 feels a loooong way off, but somehow the time has arrived to start thinking about enrollment for our next school year. As an intentionally small school, we tend to fill up quickly. If you are thinking about sending your child here next year, please reach out to schedule a tour.
