🎒✨ 4TH ANNUAL BACK TO SCHOOL BLOCK PARTY! ✨🎒

HUGE thank you to SHINE, Privilege Barber Lounge, Brick By Brick MN, Earths Beauty Supply, and Dettour for collaborating with us to make our 4th Annual Back to School Block Party such a beautiful success! ❤️

Yesterday was a TRUE reflection of community. What started as a planned event turned into something even more special, with unexpected pop-ups and generous community blessings showing up throughout the day.

A HUGE S/O to everyone who poured into our youth and families…

Mount Olivet Lab School, Inc. Nourish Foundation for blessing the community with backpacks, Bombas socks, and 100 complimentary snowballs from Cajun Sneaux!

Eastern Stars for their generous backpack donations!

Earths for making sure our beauticians had everything they needed to serve our youth.

Paint Playground and Black Youth Healing Arts Center for bringing fun, creative art activities.

Chef Raye Raye & Miss Connie for keeping our community fed!

825 Arts for providing the space and bringing Minecraft to the block party!

Mind the Crown with personalized Black youth backpacks 🎒

DJ Rae for keeping the vibes going!

Dettour for providing FREE clothes, shoes, and hygiene products!

Brick by Brick for bringing the Pokémon fun!

Shine & Privilege for making sure our kids stayed FRESH!

Ramsey County, Minnesota for bringing mental health awareness.

And to every volunteer, vendor, parent, youth, neighbor, and community member who showed up THANK YOU! ❤️

Together, we served 350+ community members, distributed 150+ backpacks, and provided hair services to 40+ youth‼️

This is what happens when we come together with a shared purpose, making sure our kids feel seen, supported, celebrated, and ready for the school year.

This wasn’t just a back-to-school event. This was community. This was love. This was Community POWER!
