Thank you to the youth, kids and community partners who make 825 Arts intergenerational, thoughtful and fun!
This Tuesday, we concluded Tot Time for the season. Local Rondo daycare providers, Tonya's Lullaby In-Home Care and Rozislillovies joined us at 825 Arts for “I for Icecream!” Tot Time was led by the incredible YALT and Right Track interns, with assistance from Mizz Mercedez . We made ice-cream and enjoyed many fun outdoor activities!

National Night OUT‼️ Was a vibe in RONDO last night. I was at Aurora/St. Anthony Peace Sanctuary Garden, St. Paul, MN and then Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Martin Luther King Recreation Center. Both put on great events for the community. S/O to everyone who showed up to take care of community.

This summer, I’ve been on a mission to activate LOVE, PEACE, and UNITY throughout the Rondo-Frogtown community.
With the increase of unhoused neighbors and people struggling with addiction, I’ve witnessed firsthand how the power of LOVE can heal, restore hope, and shift the energy of an entire space. That’s what inspired me to bring 825 Art Bq’s to the corner of Dale and University.
The vibes were incredible. DJ Huh What?! kept the music flowing and had people dancing. Can Can Wonderland making cool artsy buttons. RONDO Double Dutch Coach Twist had youth and families jumping for joy through double dutch. The Frogtown Neighborhood Association (District 7) created space for community voices, where people shared their hopes and dreams for the future of the Dale and University corridor. And we had a freestyle cypher featuring Omi and Lt. Sunnie‼️
Change is happening, and my mission is to make sure WE as the people who live, work, and love this community, have a seat and a voice at the table as that future is shaped.

Central Village Park Day‼️ 2026
Still smiling as I look back at the memories from Central Village Park Day. 🥰
A beautiful day filled with community, culture, laughter, and love. Seeing neighbors, families, artists, local businesses, and organizations come together made my day.
Central Village Park, St. Paul is more than just a park… It’s a place with deep history and a space where new memories continue to be made. I loved celebrating the people who make our community so special while honoring the legacy of Historic Rondo.
Thank you to my 825 Arts Right Track Saint Paul interns, vendors, performers, sponsors, partners, and community members who showed up and helped make this event possible. Your energy, kindness, and commitment created something truly unforgettable.
As I share these photos, I hope you can feel the joy, connection, LOVE and pride that filled the park. Here’s to continuing to build spaces where everyone feels welcome, celebrated, and connected.
Until next year… thank you for making Central Village Park Day so beautiful.

🤖🏀 ⚡️Broken Robots🏀🤖⚡️
In 2020, Mack Phillips IV and I created a comic book called “Broken Robots.” Our mission is to inspire this generation to be a broken robot. Someone who thinks for themselves, leads with their heart, and lives with a mind, soul, and consciousness.
Robots are programmed and controlled. People have the power to create, question, dream, and change the world.
Through Broken Robots, we have used inner-city sports as a way to create safe spaces, bring youth together, and get kids back outside playing, competing, and building positive connections.
Yesterday, we hosted a 1v1 Basketball Event to help raise funds and support D.U.T. Academy, an AAU basketball program based out of Jimmy Lee Recreation Center in the Rondo community.
A huge thank you to Malique McCoy Saint Paul Parks and Recreation and the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department for supporting this vision and helping us create positive experiences for our youth.
Next event is July 17 Supporting Saint Paul Public Schools SPPS Saint Paul Central High School Boys Basketball
🤖⚡️Be a Broken Robot. Think. Create. Inspire.
