Our last two field trips introduced our students to snakes, and turtles, and bees… oh my! 🐝🐍 Dodge Nature Center brought reptiles to MORE for some up-close learning. This week, our students traveled to the Center to learn about bees, pollinators, and watch the beekeepers in action.

Thank you to the teachers, volunteers, and community partners who help make these learning opportunities possible!

Learning extends far beyond the classroom at MORE. πŸ’›

As part of our mission to empower immigrants and refugees to thrive independently and feel connected to their communities, our English learners spend the summer exploring the Twin Cities through educational field trips.

This summer, students have visited:
🎨 Minneapolis Institute of Art
πŸ›οΈ Mill City Museum
🌳 Hidden Falls Regional Park

These experiences help students practice their English skills, build confidence navigating new places, learn about Minnesota's history and culture, and strengthen connections within the community.

A special thank-you to our teachers and volunteers who make these opportunities possible. Together, we're creating pathways for new Americans to learn, belong, and thrive.
