🎙On Our Minds is an award-winning podcast about the teenage experience from PBS News Student Reporting Labs (SRL), a hands-on journalism training program for young people and their educators. On Our Minds season six is an audio road trip.

In this week’s episode, local high school student Divya Thamman reports the story of how her Minneapolis neighbors “sharpened” a fallen tree into a gigantic pencil, showcasing the quirky side of her community.
