Today, Team Minnesota's Amber from got a chance to see the iron lung from .info's collections. Amber's project is a performance titled "Manufactured Breath: How the Iron Lung Led to Revolutionary Medical Reform." What a lovely opportunity for a young scholar.

As this school year comes to an end, we want to recognize ALL our History Day students. Each of you took the time to learn about a topic in history, practiced how to ask and answer research questions, and grew in your scholarship. At its core, our program is about the thousands of students who participate, learn, and grow every single year.

T-8 days until Team Minnesota leaves for Nationals! We can't wait 😁 so here are some throwbacks to last year. Some moments are already perfect, especially when we get to keep the memories forever. We're looking forward to making some new memories this summer.

At State History Day we strive to recognize as many students and projects as possible. This year, we awarded over $10,000 in prize money through Topical Prizes. These awards are sponsored by individuals or organizations, are focused on a specific area of history, and allow us to recognize additional students. Topical Prizes are judged separately from the regular contest and are not connected to category results. Results and photos are available at https://mnhs.info/490Qgz1

CONGRATS! 👏

Julius ’29, Ryan ’29, and Henry ’29 represented Holy Family at Minnesota History Day State on April 19 with their documentary on The Alamo.

Their project rose out of a field of 56 student participants, with 13 advancing to Regionals at the University of Minnesota before earning a spot at State.

An awesome accomplishment and a testament to the work they put in.

Well done, guys.
