The Women's Suffrage National Monument Foundation has launched a nationwide call for design inspiration to create the new monument at the National Mall. Share your design concepts and inspirations for the first-ever monument honoring the suffrage movement in our "National Front Yard." This is a rare chance for students to move beyond studying history and help shape how it is memorialized. Go to https://mnhs.info/4xnFlt0 to submit your idea!

Throwback! Back in April of this year, our mentors put their bowling shirts to good use and had a blast at the alley. The mentors pictured are part of our cohort of 65 mentors who logged over 4,065 hours of service this school year. Undergraduate mentors are a hallmark of the Minnesota History Day program.

This school year, the History Day team delivered over 1,250 hours of outreach across the state. We visited schools in the metro area and all the way up north and down south. Outreach is a fundamental part of our program, creates better outcomes for students and teachers, and gives us the opportunity to create lasting relationships with educators.

This Monday, the History Day team volunteered at Second Harvest Heartland, learned about food inequity in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and got to do just a little bit to help out. This was a lovely way for our team to spend time together and celebrate our successful week at Nationals back in June. We also want to thank the lovely parents and families of Team Minnesota for their generosity in helping us to celebrate.
