The Leadership Center for Social Justice (LCSJ) at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities is thrilled to announce that the Hawkinson Fund for Peace and Justice is a new programmatic focus thanks to an agreement with Grace University Lutheran Church.

Moving forward, LCSJ will lead the Hawkinson Fund while furthering the Fundโ€™s mission of supporting individuals who have demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing peace and social justice through justice-oriented projects, standing up for their convictions, or displaying ongoing leadership within a peace or justice organization.

Join us on Sunday, October 13, at 3:00 PM CT for the Hawkinson Fund for Peace and Justice Annual Awards!

The Hawkinson Fund for Peace and Justice perpetuates the spirit of Vincent L. Hawkinson by:

providing honorary recognition awards to individuals who have made significant and sustained contributions to peace and justice
providing scholarships and grants to students committed to peace and justice
engaging in other projects that inspire bold action for justice
publicizing the activities of those receiving awards, scholarships and grants to inspire others to pursue peace and justice.

Itโ€™s a beautiful day to celebrate Mississippi!! We are excited to see everyone at Hidden Falls this evening for Spirit of Water ๐ŸŒŠ โค๏ธ

The festivities begin at 5pm! Free food, music and art will be available throughout the evening.
