Congratulations to Adayla Morant! Check out the story about Como’s 2026 graduate who is heading out east for college on a gymnastics and academic scholarship. And how she vaulted to the next level at the USA Gymnastics National Championships!

Como Park High School’s Adayla Morant humbly asked her AP Macroeconomics teacher if she could reschedule the College Board AP Exam in May. Her conflict was the USA Gymnastics’ National Championships in Oklahoma City, where she had qualified for the all-around competition.

The teacher agreed that the alternative AP Exam date was a good idea!

Adayla’s modesty and attention to detail, in the classroom and gymnastics arena, are foundational elements of her success resulting in academic and gymnastics scholarships to study and compete at Southern Connecticut State University (an NCAA D2 school).
Balancing rigorous college-level work at Como and her year-round training at Flips Gymnastics Academy in White Bear Lake was always a challenge. Sacrifices were made. Adayla couldn’t pursue social and school-related opportunities that many classmates could.

But the trade-off was worth it. Her love of gymnastics was established with programs at Hamline University even before kindergarten. She thrived at Circus Juventas while attending Chelsea Heights Elementary and officially joined the Spirit Gymnastics club at Hamline.

Whoot whoot!!! Junior, Charlie Loth earns ANOTHER STATE TITLE THIS SCHOOL YEAR WITH A WIN IN THE 3200 AT TRACK STATE!!!! Charlie has another opportunity to win in the 1600 tomorrow at 11am.

Our two wonderful Winfield Award winners: Sofia Gonzalez and Jonas Tetevi! These two leaders will be missed by Como Park!

Our Track Team were in action last night at the 4AA Section Track Meet. Cross Country State Champ, Charlie Loth qualified by winning the Section in the two mile race. Ben Clark and Tate Prinson also qualified in the mile and hurdles respectively. Many athletes achieved personal best! Way to go Cougars!

Our boys volleyball team defeated Camden tonight in the quarterfinals three sets to none! They advance to the semifinals vs Prairie Seeds next Monday at 6pm @ Prairie Seeds.

Go Cougars!

Our girls softball team defeated St. Croix Luthern 12-7 in the Section 4AA Elimination bracket. It was a great combination of solid pitching and hitting! They will play St. Agnes this Saturday at 4pm at Concordia University.
