As we're getting campus ready to welcome you back for another great school year, here are a few important dates to mark on your calendar:

✅️ August 12 – Student Orientation
We encourage students to attend during the following times:
- Last names A–J: 12:00–2:30 p.m.
- Last names K–Z: 2:30–5:00 p.m.

During Orientation, students will be able to:
- Pick up schedules and uniforms
- Register for parking permits (bring your license, registration, and proof of insurance)
- Pick up laptops
- Meet with the school nurse about any medical concerns
- Ask questions about FinalForms or ParentSquare

As a reminder, OHP uses a staggered start to the school year:
🗓️ August 19 – First day for new students
🗓️ August 20 – All students report to campus

All our back to school information can be found here:

Reminder! All families must complete important forms before the first day of school!

✅️ New students and families: Instructions on how to access OHP's FinalForms are included in your summer mailer. Please complete all the documents listed.

✅️ Returning students and families: log into your OHP FinalForms account to confirm and/or update the required forms. The process should only take about 5-10 minutes.

Even if you've completed FinalForms for your partner district, you still need to complete OHP’s FinalForms. It's important to complete these forms before the first day of school to ensure a successful start to the school year!

Early childhood education students, education majors, school staff, retirees, and anyone who enjoys working with children could be a great fit. Before and after care can sometimes be a little harder to fill because of the split schedule, but it can also be a great opportunity for some who may have availability in the mornings, afternoons, or even just a few days per week.

The role includes helping supervise school-age children, leading activities, assisting with homework, helping with snacks, and most importantly, creating a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for kids before and after the school day.

Current schedule needs include:

Urbana
Before Care: 5:00 a.m. – 8:10 a.m.
After Care: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mechanicsburg
Before Care: 6:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
After Care: 3:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Graham
Before Care: 6:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
After Care: 3:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

West Liberty-Salem
After Care only: 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Triad (YMCA Cardinal Corner)
Before Care only: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

These positions could be worked as a split shift, with one person working both the morning and afternoon, but we are absolutely open to someone who can only work one shift or who may be able to help at different schools on different days. Even 2–3 days per week could be helpful, and Tabitha is great about working with people’s schedules whenever possible.

Anyone interested or anyone with questions can reach out directly to Tabitha Stambaugh, our Before & After Care Director, at [email protected]
