First Annual Navajo Nation Voting Rights Conference Free Registration open to the public.
St. Michaels, Navajo Nation (ARIZ) – The Office of Navajo Nation Human Rights Commission and ACLU New Mexico are hosting the First Annual Navajo Nation Voting Rights Conference. Registration is free and open to the public.

Registration: Free, registration deadline is August 21, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. MDT.
Topics include but not limited to: The state of Native Voting Rights: Challenges Today and Emerging issues ahead, History of Navajo Voting, State Election Laws, Navigating State and County Relationships with the Navajo Nation, ACLU National Presentation: Native Voting Rights, National Trends and Litigation Strategies, and Building Native Power.
The Voting Rights Conference is developed to strengthen Navajo Voting and understanding of the current trends that effect Navajo voters in County, State and Federal Elections. We are encouraging like-minded individuals who are interested in empowering Navajo Voting across the three states to attend the conference.
