At LLGG, we follow what the French call "Joie de vivre" or The joy of life! My name is Meghan Glynn and I am a stay at home mother of 4 beautiful children.
My husband and I enjoy camping, fishing, and hiking! At home we love to bake and make forts to snuggle up and read in. My personal hobbies include horseback riding and photography. When my family and I packed up and moved to Saint Michael in 2016, I knew I wanted to be a child care provider. I loved teaching Sunday School at a church I attended as a child in Crystal, MN. After having my 3rd child
in 2012, I started assistant teaching at Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park during the Sunday Sermons. Little Lambs Garden for Growing is a non denominational Christian childcare center. It is important for our little ones to grow up with a faith based background to fall on when faced with so many life decisions. I have adapted a christian based preschool curriculum. More importantly, I emphasize things that school does not always accentuate that are key roles in understanding who we are as humans and who we'd like to be. Things like sharing, what it means to be a good friend, and patience, to name a few. I also care deeply about nutrition. After all- we are what we eat! I will strive to provide organic meals from scratch, and the meats will be from free range animals. I also choose local produce when able. The children will be preparing their own meals with my help and supervision, and they will also be involved in the monthly menu planning. I prefer to spend most of our days outdoors (weather permitting). I'm excited to share a new project that will take place in spring of 2017: We will be building our very own vegetable garden! We will learn how to tend to our vegetable garden and what makes our food grow.
