Weekly Summer Series
🎨 Summer Play Series: Creative Arts
Creativity grows when children have the freedom to explore!
Try:
🎵 Dance to your favorite songs.
🎨 Paint with water on the sidewalk.
🍃 Create art using leaves, flowers, sticks, and rocks.
🎭 Put on a family puppet or pretend play show.
🎶 Make music using pots, pans, or homemade instruments.
There is no right or wrong way to create—just opportunities to imagine, express, and have fun together!

Movement helps children build strong bodies and confident minds!
Try:
🚲 Ride bikes or scooters.
⚽ Kick, throw, or catch a ball.
🌳 Climb, jump, and balance at the playground.
💦 Play with sprinklers or water balloons.
🚶 Take a family nature walk and explore together.
Active play builds strength, coordination, balance, and healthy habits that last a lifetime.
Summer is a wonderful time to practice independence!
Invite your child to:
👕 Dress themselves.
🥪 Help prepare simple snacks or meals.
🧺 Put away toys and help with simple chores.
🎒 Pack a bag for an outing.
🧼 Wash hands and practice healthy routines.
Giving children opportunities to do things on their own builds confidence, responsibility, and important life skills. Remember—it may take a little longer, but every attempt is a chance to learn!
