🍁🍂 Fall Adventures at Lilypad! 🐸💚

Today our little Lilypad friends enjoyed a beautiful fall walk to the park! 🍃☀️

We soaked up the crisp autumn air, admired the changing leaves, and enjoyed some fresh air and playtime with our friends! 🍁🛝

There's something so special about watching the world change through little eyes. Sometimes the simplest adventures make the sweetest memories! 🧡

Little feet, big adventures, and lots of fall fun! 🍂🐸

🍎 An Apple a Day at Lilypad! 🍏
Our little scientists put their taste buds to work with a delicious apple taste-testing experiment!
We explored four different apple varieties: Granny Smith, Red, Gala, and Honeycrisp. Each friend got to taste, compare, and decide which apples they liked best! We recorded our results on a classroom chart, made observations, and even picked our favorites! ⭐
Some of our little taste testers had a lot to say:
🍎 “Yummy!”
🍏 “Gala is my favorite!”
🍯 “Honey are super sweet!”
❤️ “Red ones are delicious!”
This hands-on science activity encouraged our friends to use their five senses, explore similarities and differences, practice making predictions, and collect data through our very own taste-testing chart!
Who knew science could be so sweet? 🥰

🍎 This month’s theme is APPLES! 🍏

We dove into this fall-tastic theme with so many fun, hands-on learning activities! Our friends explored an apple cinnamon-scented sensory table, did a little apple picking from our very own tree, matched shape apples, and practiced early math skills with an apple count-and-clip activity. 🍎✨

We’ve had so much fun exploring apples through play, sensory experiences, shapes, counting, and more—and we’re just getting started! We can’t wait for all the apple-themed learning and fall fun still to come this month at Lilypad! 🍂❤️

✏️ Our first day in our new Writing Without Tears books!

We are so excited to start another fun year of learning, growing, and hitting new milestones here at Lilypad! 💚

Writing in early childhood starts with so much more than just letters. Practicing lines, shapes, pencil grip, and tracing helps build the fine motor skills and hand strength our little learners need for writing later on.

We love making learning fun, hands-on, and just the right fit for each child as they grow. We can’t wait to see how much these kiddos learn this year! 🌱📚✨

☀️ Friday Fun at Lilypad! 🍕🌳

What an amazing Friday! We took advantage of the beautiful summer weather and headed to the park for some sunshine, fresh air, and lots of playtime! 🌿🛝☀️

We even enjoyed a special treat while we were there before heading back to Lilypad for a pizza party! 🍕🎉

Park adventures, yummy treats, pizza, and happy kiddos… we’d say that’s a pretty great way to end the week! 💚🐸

Dance day with Ms. Christine at KMC Dance in Albertville! 🩰💃

We finally finished our Ballet Barn song, and these kiddos have all the animals AND the ballet positions that go with them locked in! 🐷🐮🐴✨ They have worked so hard learning each move, and it has been so fun watching it all come together.

We’re already excited for dance to start back up this fall with Ms. Christine and to see what brand-new songs and moves she has in store for us! 💕🎶

Thank you, Ms. Christine, for another fun season of dancing, learning, and LOTS of smiles! 🩰

💦☀️ Last Water Day of 2026! ☀️💦

We officially wrapped up our final water day of the year at Lilypad, and we made sure to soak up every last splash! 💙

Our kiddos spent the day running through the sprinkler, splashing, pouring, scooping, and enjoying all the messy water play they could handle. There’s nothing better than sunshine, giggles, and a bunch of happy kiddos making the most of these last summer days! 🥰

It’s a little bittersweet saying goodbye to water days for the year, but we sure made some amazing summer memories together. Until next summer! 💦🌈☀️

🌟 What a Week at Lilypad! 🌟
It’s been a busy and FUN-filled week here at Lilypad! We’ve had a giant bounce house set up all week in preparation for our Family Night, and last night was such a success! 🎉💚
There was so much laughter and fun between bouncing, playing, and spending time together. The kids also left with some seriously impressive face paint — some with practically full sleeves! 🎨✨ A huge thank-you to our amazing face painter, Stefani, for sharing her talent with us and creating such awesome designs for the kiddos!
One of our favorite parts of Family Night was watching our Lilypad families connect, visit, and build relationships with one another. Creating a community where our children and families feel connected is so important to us, and seeing everyone enjoying the evening together made our hearts so happy. 🥰
Most of all, THANK YOU to our incredible Lilypad families! Your continued love, trust, and support mean more to us than we can say. We truly couldn’t continue building this dream without the amazing families who choose Lilypad and allow us to be part of their children’s lives. 💚🪷
Another successful Lilypad Family Night in the books! Everyone left happy, tired, and hopefully with some wonderful memories. 😊🎉
