-Candidates must be highly motivated, dedicated, and willing to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm.
-Candidates will help create a caring, nurturing, and safe environment for the children and assist in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education.
-Qualified candidates are required to have experience in babysitting or a professional child care setting. Starting wages will vary and are dependent upon education and/or experience. Job Responsibilities:
-Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
-Plan learning activities within established classroom centers and with the Lead Teacher.
-Implement prepared lessons and activities in small and large group settings throughout the program day.
•Assist children with managing all parts of the program day including transitions between activities, meals, toileting/diapering & washing hands, structured activities, etc.
-Keep all electronic communication with parents and Director up to date at all times.
-Establish positive and effective family relations through interactive parent communication.
-Ensure compliance with policies & procedures
Candidates will be required to obtain the following:
• Health Assessment and TB Test
• FBI/Fingerprint Clearance
• Child Abuse Clearance
• Criminal Background Clearance
• NSOR clearance
• Mandated Reporter Training
