Our kids are getting high quality modeling and examples of how to organize their ideas from our teachers with the way they are teaching writing.

Check out Mrs. Copeland who does a great job checking in with all of her kids along the way while they are writing and organizing with a clear model . 📝✍️💛💙

Did you. Know ….?

Every year our kids get to experience a pep assembly with our high school kids !

Thank you to the band and all of the senior athletes who came over today to give our kids a pep assembly and talk about character education and what it means to be a Rider.

Each high school group with seniors talked about a life lesson that comes with their sport or group. Our kids learned about perseverance, teamwork, and the three Rider R words ( respectful, responsible , and resourceful) while having a ton of fun ! Thank you to the High School leaders .

We are proud of Mrs. Wenning for presenting at our board meeting this week. Mrs. Wenning shared a mini lesson on how she uses The Writing Revolution strategies to help her students think deeper and make connections to understand math story problems.

Great job Mrs. Wenning! 💙💛 We are grateful for all of her hard work for our kids each and every day and also for presenting at the board meeting.

Our third grade teachers have been bringing in guest speakers for the end of their Reading units as an additional educational experience for our kids. They plan and organize all of the details.💛💙

Parents we would love for you to ask your kids what they have learned through reading lately.

Our teachers and kids went all out today, and a few teachers even dressed up and welcomed our kids outside in costume. Thanks Becky and Casey 🙂

A guest speaker from Wild Hearts African Farm came to school to present to our third grade with live animals. It was educational , exciting, and engaging!

Thank you to our PTO organization that helped to make this event for the third grade possible today !

It was a great day to be a Rider at St. Marys Intermediate today . 💙💛
