Joe Scholtz Memorial FREE FISHING

I apologies for getting this out so late after the event but I have been so busy, but I want to take the time to say thank you to all that took part in the annual event, those that supported the event and worked the event. It took a team of workers to pull this off and that day we had some no shows, and we had people in the crowd step up and help out and I don’t have your names but THANK-YOU!

We caught 249 fish that day that we released back into the water. We had over 300 take part that day. The weather was wonderful, couldn’t ask for a better day. We went through 400 hot dogs. Everyone got a prize and those that registered by June 1st got a free shirt. Everyone gave us positive feedback on moving it to Clapp Park, with the layout of things, the parking for cars and the fact so many could walk to the park. With so much positive feedback we will continue to keep everything at Clapp Park moving forward.
