Our English Language Development (ELD) team is dedicated to helping students whose first language is not English thrive both inside and outside the classroom. They provide academic support, build language skills, and help ensure every student feels welcomed, connected, and successful throughout their school experience.

Registration must be completed by Friday, August 7 in order for your student to receive their schedule for Back-to-School Night and the first day of school.

⚠️ Students who are not fully registered by this deadline may not have a schedule ready for the first day of school.

We currently have 270 students fully registered—thank you to everyone who has already completed the process!
A few important reminders:

✅ If you have registered but have not yet submitted approved residency documentation, you will receive an email with additional information.

💉 Incoming 8th grade students: Please make sure your required immunizations are completed. Students without the required immunizations will not be allowed to attend school.

🍎 All families are asked to complete the Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application, available on the district website, regardless of whether you think you may qualify.

Please join us in welcoming our Ag Science teacher, Miss Morrison, to Lafayette Middle School!

Her classes are highly anticipated each year, and students look forward to the hands-on learning, engaging activities, and positive environment she creates.

We are thrilled to have her as part of the Lafayette Middle family and know she will continue inspiring students through agricultural education.

We are excited to introduce two incredible members of our Lafayette Middle School team who will be supporting and caring for our students every day!

Mrs. Corey, our librarian, is passionate about helping students discover a love of reading, learning, and exploring new ideas.

Nurse Connie is dedicated to keeping our students healthy, safe, and ready to learn while providing compassionate care whenever they need it.

We are so grateful to have Mrs. Corey and Nurse Connie as part of the Lafayette family and can't wait for our students to get to know them this school year.

Fall sports are just around the corner at Lafayette Middle School!

We’re excited to welcome all of our Fighting Irish athletes as we kick off a new season. All fall sports will be held at Lafayette Middle School.

We will share practice and event times as we get closer.

Students must have completed Final Forms and have uploaded a copy of their physical in order to practice and try out.

We can’t wait to meet our Irish athletes.💚
