🔧 Maintenance Manager: Ron Prawitz
Please join us in celebrating Ron, who is beginning his fourth year at Cathedral! Ron has always enjoyed working with his hands and brings years of experience and dedication to caring for our school.

Family is very important to him, and he is the proud father of four and grandfather of five. We are grateful for all he does to keep Cathedral running smoothly for our students and staff!

🧹 Custodian: Leroy Davis
Please join us in celebrating Leroy, who has been part of the Cathedral community for an incredible 31 years! Leroy helps keep both Cathedral School and the Gianna Center clean, safe, and welcoming.

Outside of work, he enjoys going to concerts and working on model cars. We are so thankful for his many years of service and commitment to our Cathedral family!

🍳 Kitchen &Custodial Staff: Dakota Bayer
Please join us in welcoming Dakota to the Cathedral team! Dakota brings a background in cooking and military service, along with a passion for creating meals and helping others.

He is excited to put those skills to work at Cathedral by helping in the kitchen and keeping our school clean, safe, and ready for our students. We’re so glad to have him on our team!

We’re also excited to welcome Joy, our new Cafeteria Manager! Joy joined the Cathedral family in March 2026 and is excited to meet our students and provide good, healthy, homemade meals they can look forward to each day.

💙 Administrative Assistant: Mrs. Lauren LujanPlease join us in celebrating Mrs. Lujan, who has been part of the Cathedral family for six wonderful years! As an administrative assistant, she loves being a helpful resource for our amazing staff, students, and parents.

Outside of school, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, and getting lost in a good book. She is also a proud Cathedral mom!

Meet Our Specials Teachers! 🎨📚🎶🏃‍♂️We're excited to introduce the wonderful teachers who will be helping our Ravens explore their creativity, discover new interests, stay active, and grow in confidence throughout the school year! 💙💛

📚 K–5 Librarian: Mrs. Lindsay Phillips
Please join us in welcoming back Mrs. Phillips for her fifth year as our Cathedral librarian! After years of teaching in the elementary classroom, she loves helping students discover new books, grow as readers, and find stories that make them excited to visit the library. We're so blessed to have her sharing her love of reading with our Ravens!

🎨 Art: Mrs. Alexis Lynch
We're excited to welcome Mrs. Lynch to Cathedral as our Art Teacher! This is her first year teaching art, but she's been making and crafting since she was a little girl. With a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Missouri Western State University and experience in photography and stained glass, she's ready to inspire our students to explore their creativity and artistic talents!

We're excited to have Coach Bentrup continuing to inspire our students in Physical Education! Having worked with Cathedral and Saint Gianna's for eight years, he knows the importance of creating a positive, fun, and supportive environment where every student can grow, challenge themselves, and enjoy being active. We know he'll keep our Ravens moving, learning, and having fun!

🎶 Music: Miss Helena Goettemoeller (Miss G!)
Please help us welcome back Miss G! She is excited to continue making music with our students and helping them grow through creativity, performance, melody, beat, and rhythm—all with a focus on our faith. With a love for music and experience teaching at both SFX and Cathedral, we're excited to see all the musical fun this year will bring!

Please join us in welcoming back Mr. Bobela to Cathedral as our Spanish & Bell Choir Teacher and Director of Sacred Music! This year marks his ninth year working for the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph as a musician and educator. He will also be teaching Spanish and Latin at Bishop LeBlond High School while pursuing a Master's degree in Music Education. We're excited to have him sharing his love of music, language, and faith with our Ravens!

Together, our Specials teachers bring creativity, movement, music, language, imagination, and a love of learning to our school community. We are so blessed to have each of them helping our Ravens discover new talents and passions! 💙💛

💙 6th Grade Homeroom & Middle School English: Welcome back to Ms. Dahlgren! As she begins her third year at Cathedral, she continues to foster a love of literature, strong writing skills, and meaningful learning experiences for our students. We are grateful for the enthusiasm and care she brings to the classroom each day.

💛 7th Grade Homeroom, Middle School Theology & Social Studies: Please join us in giving a warm Cathedral welcome to Ms. Kremer, our new 7th Grade Homeroom, Theology, and Social Studies teacher!
