Bessie Ellison Art

This morning Ellison Artists created our first ever (and mine too) screenprinted shirts! We learned a lot and they are perfectly imperfect. I am so happy we decided to take a chance and create our own shirts. 💚

Ellison 4th grade had a wonderful time at the Sculpture walk and Symphony. I'm so glad SJSD values fine arts education. ❤️ It was a great day!

We have an awesome new resource officer and a Para who sat down and completed a piece of the collaborative mural we are creating! Ellison is a great place! ❤️

Fun things to do coming up!

We are so excited to bring Family Fun Week to St. Joseph!
Who else can't wait for Family Fun Week?

Printmaking, painting, drawing, sculpting... I love creating and learning new ways to create!

Art Club begins this Tuesday, June 15th! In person at 1101 South 18th Street in St. Joseph, MO. Register 30 minutes prior to the start of class on any Tuesday. The cost is $12 per class. We will be creating art using a variety of techniques and media. Ages 6 and up... work at your own skill level with a certified art instructor. See you at the studio!

Hellooo Art Friends! We are on the count down at school and I wanted to update you on the new classes coming up this summer and get some input. We will be having an ART CLUB and POTTERY CLASSES! YAY!!! Im super excited about both! My question for you is...

ART CLUB... What works best... Tuesday afternoons from 1-3 or Tuesday evenings from 6-8?

Will Stuck is teaching a one time drawing class this coming Monday and it is only $15!

Corey Lonjers is teaching a 5 week oil painting class beginning May 6th for $65 total.

And I am teaching the 5 week exploring plaster class beginning April 27th for $65.
