The President’s Concert featuring the MoWest Chamber Choir, the Choral Experience, and MoWest Chamber Orchestra performing Vivaldi’s Gloria in D Major, RV 589 is at 4PM at the First Presbyterian Church in St Joseph. The concert is free and we hope to see you there…..

As many of you may be aware, our beloved collaborative pianist, Lorri Dixon, has been hospitalized. She is improving but we've had to bring in another collaborative pianist for this week's rehearsal. Elizabeth McLenaghan has stepped in to help us while Lorrie recovers. Beth is a graduate of the MoWest and has been a sought after collaborative pianist in the state. After her first rehearsal with the ensemble yesterday she sent us this message:

"Heya- I just wanted to tell you how _AMAZING_ that group sounds. I can't believe the shift in tone and just how much they think and respond like grad students. I was truly blown away..."

While we continue to pray for Lorrie's speedy recovery, we are grateful to Beth and appreciate her observations of the work we doing with the Choral Program here MoWest.

Next Thursday the MoWest Middle and High School Honor Choirs will host 353 singers for day of community building, artistry, & great memories.

It’s almost here! We have a record number of participating returning and new schools. We are so excited with 300+ middle and high school students joining us for a day of new friend making, learning, and the sharing of our musical hearts and minds.

The middle school honor choir will be conducted by THE Jazz Rucker.

The high school honor choir will be conducted by MWSU’s Dr. Paul Dease

The concert will start at 6 PM in Fulkerson, it is free and open to the public.
