Lindbergh Elementary School

As we spend the month of June wrapping up the 2025-2026 school year, we want to take time each week to highlight some of the amazing things happening at Lindbergh.

This week’s spotlight is on our incredible staff.

One of the strongest indicators of a healthy school culture is teacher retention, and we are proud of the progress we are seeing on Flight 2812. Our classroom teacher retention rate, excluding retirees, has steadily increased from 62.5% between the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years, to 65.2% the following year. As we look ahead to the 2026-2027 school year, that number has climbed to 87.5%.

We know that life changes, family needs, and career opportunities can lead talented educators in new directions, and we support those decisions. At the same time we are extremely grateful for the outstanding teachers who continue to choose 2812 and invest their hearts in our students, families, and school community.

This growth speaks volumes about the people who make Lindbergh such a special place. The work is hard, but it is good work. We appreciate our crew and the difference they make every day. Great things are happening at Lindbergh and our staff is a big reason why.

Happy Memorial Day! We hope everyone is having a great 3-day weekend. Just a reminder that summer school starts tomorrow. Doors open at 7:15am and school starts at 7:30am. We get out at 1:30pm. All students will report to the gym on day 1 to know who their teacher is. If you did not enroll your student in summer school, you will need to bring them in to the front office to enroll. Also, a reminder that this year there is no monetary incentive for students like years past.

Such a fun way to promote literacy! Our students had a blast competing against Hyde. Congratulations to Hyde on their win! Literacy matters. 📚

Join us on Tuesday, May 19, from 5pm to 7pm if you or someone you know will be new to Lindbergh Elementary School (staff or student) in August. It is an open house, so come and go as you please during those hours. Come tour the school and meet some of our incredible staff. We look forward to welcoming some new faces to flight 2812!
