Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, we remember the lives lost, the heroes who responded, and the strength shown by communities across our country. Many of us can still recall where we were that day, the moments of silence, the conversations, and the way people came together in the days that followed.

At Silver & Gold, we believe remembrance is one way we honor the stories, sacrifices, and shared moments that continue to shape us.

May we continue to honor those memories and never forget. 🇺🇸

Let’s Kick Off September! 🏈 Football season is back, and we’re celebrating with a Tailgate Party Luncheon on Tuesday, September 15th, at Word of Life Church! Doors open at 10:30 a.m., with lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Wear your favorite team colors and show us your spirit! Pam Smith from Performance Plus Rehabilitation will get us warmed up, followed by fun Chair Zumba with Betty Stacy.

Chaun’s Catering will be serving Loaded Cheesy Beef Nachos, seasoned Mexican rice, refried beans, shredded cheddar cheese, and a fudgy chocolate brownie for dessert.

Come hungry, wear your team colors, and get ready for some football fun, food, and fellowship!

Tomorrow evening, Silver & Gold members are invited to a free community event at Benedictine Living Community in honor of National Forgiveness Day. Guest speaker Darryl Burton will share his powerful story of faith, resilience, and forgiveness after spending 24 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.

Join us tomorrow, September 1st at 6 PM at Benedictine Living Community-St. Joseph for an evening of reflection, hope, and community.
