Shout out to the best engineers (Mr. Darren and Mr. Jeff) for winning Bessie Ellison the 2025-2026 school year Cleanest Building of the Year in the SJSD! We appreciate you so much!!!

The St. Joseph School District will host an open house at all K-12 school locations to assist students and families with the upcoming transition to their new school assignments.

This event is designed to help students become familiar with their new environments before the start of the next school year.

Bessie Ellison invites you to come to tour the building and meet teachers and the principal.

Bessie Ellison’s Important Dates and Times!

Just a reminder that registration for Elementary and Middle School Summer School is now open! This summer, Saint Joseph School District students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade will participate in hands-on learning that blends engaging science experiences with meaningful literacy and math instruction.

To ensure your child is assigned to a bus route, please register by May 7th. Bus routes will be published prior to the start of summer school. Transportation and meals will be offered by the district using the same qualifications as the 2025-2026 school year. Please note this year’s attendance incentives will not be in the form of gift cards.
