Today, Hyde Elementary 4th graders explored the power of renewable energy by building solar bugs. The event kicked off with opening remarks from Deputy Mayor Gary Wilkinson regarding the importance of Earth Day and environmental stewardship.
This hands-on learning experience was made possible through our partnership with Schneider Electric and the assistance of students from Missouri Western State University. We appreciate our partners and volunteers for coordinating this day of education and helping our students engage with sustainability.
Happy Earth Day!
