Happy National Nurse's Day to our very own lifesaver, Brooke Hall!❤️‍🩹

From Dr. Evans" "Nurse Brooke is absolutely the best school nurse around! She not only takes care of students, but staff alike. Last May, I ignored some very scary symptoms that eventually led to a week-long hospital stay and continued follow up and surveillance. Brooke encouraged me—actually pushed me—to be seen when she noticed how sick I was and how I was trying to cover it up. Had she not, I am very confident the outcome could have been much worse.

She asks the right questions, checks on all of us, and makes sure that our Skaith students and staff are always safe. Her expertise is valued, her medical advice is highly sought after.

Her office is by far the busiest in this building at times. Not only that, but she helps in every capacity. She is the first to step up—answering the door, picking up the phone, writing tardy passes, and doing whatever is needed. Nurse Brooke is a gem! "

On Nurse’s Day, it’s important to recognize some of the most under-celebrated people in our school building.
