Central High JROTC drill team makes history with first trip to nationals ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Central High School’s JROTC drill team is making history as it heads to Florida to compete in a national competition for the first time since the program's inception.
Today, Tuesday 28 April, around 10:45am, Central JROTC Drill Teams take off for Dayona, FL. Attending Drill Nationals! If you are able to join us in the send off, please do! These cadets have worked hard, 6 days a week since September. They made the commitment and this is the reward for all the hard work and many hours of practice before and after school. (The after school was not scheduled, just another part of their desire to be the best.)
Monday evening I shared a meal with these amazing cadets and their proud families for a 'send off dinner"
